Ranma Saotome is singing at the graveside of Akane Tendo while her sister Nabiki Tendo and Ranma's friend Ukyou Kuonji watch on, slightly concerned for her. Ranma remembers their first meeting, first fight, and how they grew closer. She recalls the problem with Herb and her last glimpse of Akane. Then the ghost of Akane seems to come to Ranma and they share a moment before Ranma finds herself back in the cemetery, where she begins to cry.
